Mer is sick..:(

Ya.. Mer got sick with cough and slight fever. So no school for him today. He had lost his voice yesterday. First time I heard his voice like a rocker. Then early this morning he got slight fever. He suppose to have his regular clinic check-up tomorrow, but I guess I’ll have to go today and maybe can kill two birds with one stone.
We got to the clinic early and got our number, which is 2nd in line to see the doctor. I’ve weighted and measure his height before that.. which looks good to me.. 12.5 Kg. After seeing the doctor and got the prescription, it was too late for me to que again to get him for his normal check-up .. so we’ll have to go back there again tomorrow. Hope by that time, he has fully recovered and back to his normal cute voice.

Exshausted Mer

Ever since the school started, Mer has been exshauted from all the school activities, he sleeps in the car on the way to school in the morning, he sleeps on the way to babysitter at noon time right after school and he is so exshausted that he can’t even keep his eyes open but still wanna bye-bye to mommy when arriving the babysitter’s place.

yesterday, the babysitter said he has been laying around wherever he goes and whenever he got the chances. I’m starting to get worried about him, afraid that he might just fall sick during Chinese New Year.

This was taken earlier, on the trip to school actually. He looks the same after school..

new year decoration started..

Yesterday was a fun day for flower decoration for the boys. I had my dad to ready the dry branches for putting up fake flowers for the Chinese decoration in the house. I got the boys to help, well.. even if I don’t ask for their help, they’ll willingly come to join in the fun. Cal is the one who started it, he starts by preparing for the pot which I’ve used to do my Christmas tree too. He was stuffing newspapers in there without the brances, so I got to start getting ready the dry branches, else he’ll start nagging me about it. Fortunately dad got it dried up under the sun few days ago, so getting off the leaves and extra branches were easy. Then we “planted” it onto the pot weight down with extra stones from our front yard.
Then the fun part begin.. that is ..blooming the dry branches.. yay!
Just look at my boys, they are so engross in doing the deco, didn’t even notice that I’ve snap their photo. But then once the this one has been taken, Mer started to “interact” with me by showing me those little flowers.
Cal was the expert in putting in the flowers, Mer just join in the fun and play with those cute little flowers. Well… I hope my boys are creative themselves, and someday use their patient and creativity for their own good.
Oh ya.. and yesterday, Mer had been on his scooter almost all the time after he got it from his big brother and by the afternoon he told me: “mommy mommy.. look at me.. look at me.. I can ride already..” Not exactly that he can really ride on it for a distance, but he was so happy by his little improvement, am proud of him and also Cal for letting the younger brother in trying out the scooter.

Those cute things are actually…

Those cute little things are actually pencil sharpener.

Cute aren’t they? They are made up of wood and it is just nice to have them as decoration even if you are not using any pencil. I got it from Kids Avenue in SMC days ago. Ya.. they have a shop on the mezzanine floor, variety of stocks are just like the one in Karamunsing Kompleks but the shop is smaller. I went there to get my boys new Avent tits. And found those little cute things there.
I’ve put a photo here just to show their size.

The morning rush

“Cal.. is time to get up… yu hooo….”
Wakie wakie.. I’ll tickle you if you are not getting up.”
A few minutes later…
“Cal, wake up!! It is getting late!! Come on, wake up, get change, have your breakfast!”
A few more minutes later…
“Come on, no talking while eating, finish your breakfast first, then talk!”
Another more few minutes…
“Come on, mommy is getting late!”

Well.. that’s what I normally tell Cal to rush him off to school. Even thought that I’ve told him over and over again every morning, he would still drag on, he would still take his sweet time to chat and eat, he would still wanna do something else other than getting ready to go out. Just like this morning, I wanted to take some photos of him in school, since I don’t have any. But guess what?
Yupe, he drag on and at the end, no photo session for him ‘cos I don’t have enough time to do that.
I always complaint to him that he doesn’t listen to my instructions, he doesn’t hurry up. But maybe kids are kids, they just don’t see things like us adults do, they just don’t understand what a hurry for.. and they just wanna enjoy every minute that they have on things they love.
But still, how I wish I don’t need to tell him what to do every morning and he can just get up on time, get change, have his breakfast.. well..maybe that would not be Cal then, that would be some other kids..

An inconvenient truth

Have you watch that film?
There are things that we can all do, one really simple one is stop using plastic bag, bring your own bag when you gone for grocery shopping, when you go to the market and recycle, recycle, recycle! ‘Cos really.. we wanna save a safe place for our future general to live in.
The site : an inconvenient truth - is not really just talking about selling the DVD, it is about getting the message of global warming across to anyone that you know of.
They have a blog too, try it, and get to know the truth.
