Glad To Be Here

Tell me which girl doesn’t like jewelry? I don’t have tons of them but I don’t mind having them, say like 2 carat diamond ring? Actually it would be scary for me to wear them in my day to day life. It is consider a luxury for me and well, an eye catcher that might just get me into trouble with robbers!

Being the simple me, I just wear my pairs of earrings and maybe a bangle on my wrist. My anklet is permanent, I don’t took it down, it stays there without me even noticing that if it is still there.

Jewelry making involves creativity and expertise, it is another kind of crafts. To do it you’ll need to know your stones or gems well, and the kind of metal that can go along with it, including its hardness and flexibility. Creating one is not my interest, but getting one is definitely in my wish list *wink*.

Today is the first day of Raya, Selamat Hari Raya!! The happy thing is that I get to enjoy 2 days leaves! Yay!

I’ve been busy making some cards for my Muslim colleagues, now left two that I didn’t manage to give out today as I left them in the car which hubby has been using the whole morning. I guess I can only give to them next week when they are back from their holiday.

Yes, I made them till late last night hoping to make their day when I hand over the cards to them, unfortunately I didn’t manage to do it. *sigh* I’m going to show them here even before letting them seeing them. *grin* For those that I did earlier, I forgot to take a picture of them.

Had some craft time with the boys today. At first it was only with Cal and I was pretty happy with it, ‘cos he listen to instructions and know what to do and what not to do. At that time, little Mer was still in the room with his trains and automobiles, playing alone (it is what he is best of). After two cards, little Mer came out of the room and I’ve invited him into the craft session (major mistake!!).

After telling him that he can stamp some words in his card, he demanded more, he wanted to stamp basically everywhere in his card!! The next thing is he wanted to cut up the stamped image! Boy oh boy! What follow next is I have to quickly distract him and get everything into my craft room again (we were doing it outside in the porch area).

Still, the result is pretty and satisfying except of the hiccup.
